BDP: The Unique Ingredient That Makes NOOK Sustainable

What is BDP?

BDP is an organic ingredient that is added to plastic during the manufacturing process that allows microbes to eat plastic. BDP nutrients are a natural food source for microbes in nature.

How does it work?

BDP® attracts bacteria in landfills, soil and oceans, allowing the bacteria to consume plastic.

Why is it effective?

Plastic can take centuries to decompose. BDP helps reduce this to a few years!
